Sauces add a creative nature to boring meals that can boost the flavor profile of almost any food. When achieving your weight goals, moderation always needs to be used, especially when using sauces to decorate your dishes. The following is a smoky, tangy, BBQ sauce to baste on your precooked meats.

  • 3/4 cup Honey
  • 1 cup Tomato Paste
  • 2 cup Tomato Purée
  • 2 Tbsp Liquid Aminos
  • 2 tsp Fish Sauce
  • 1/2 cup White Distilled Vinegar
  • 1.5 Tbsp Natural Liquid Smoke




  • 2 Tbsp Raw Coconut Crystals
  • 1 tsp Table Salt
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1.5 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Allspice
  • 1/2 Tbsp Black Pepper


  1. Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend on high for 3 minutes until smooth.
  2. Pour the sauce into a saucepan over medium-high heat and whisk to combine.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, until the sauce has reduced by about half.
  4. Let the sauce come to room temperature before storing in the refrigerator for later use. The sauce may be stored for up to 1 week.
