One day I’ll join a traveling circus, or join the elite of American Ninja Warrior

As an avid practitioner of a variety of movement arts, I’m constantly pushing my limits. Whether it’s my physical strength, movement capacity, or knowledge of the human body, I want to live on the brink of innovation in my discipline, and am thus pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with a focus in Athletic Medicine. Kinesiology is the study of human movement. The degree establishes an useful credential to students interested in furthering their knowledge in graduate programs and medical schools such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and athletic training to name a few.

My current movement related interests include parkour, ninja warrior, aerial silks, trampoline acrobatics, slacklining, and hand balancing. One day I’ll join a traveling circus, or join the elite of American Ninja Warrior, or open a motion arts facility in San Antonio. I’m a fervent believer that reengaging people in play and reconnecting people with their environment is a part of the solution to the obesity epidemic. My more mundane interests include playing online strategy games, watching movement arts videos, and maintaining my public presence as an American Ninja Warrior competitor.

I’m interning with Strong Body San Antonio to gain experience in the small business sector and for the opportunity to interact with clients in group and one-on-one settings. I have confidence that my experience with Strong Body over the semester will prove an important stepping stone towards my career goals, and am looking forward to helping you achieve your fitness goals along the way.
